The city hotel “Ventura” is the reconstructed regional thermal power station which had long been deserted. The station was built in 1952 according to a Soviet type project and it used to be intended for the housing of the workers from the Varna shipbuilding yard.
The hotel is located on the Southern bank of the canal connecting the sea and the lake in the Asparuhovo residential area.
During the reconstruction there was preserved the volume of the building, the exterior walls and the chimney. All floor levels are newly created and the whole roof structure has been entirely replaced.
Apart from its basic purpose – a small city hotel with three restaurant halls with decoration in different styles and a bar – the building also houses a gallery and an original installation for the production of “live” beer, which is exhibited in the interior.
The hotel offers 14 extremely spacious rooms. The multifunctional hall – gallery occupies the whole loft space of the building. It is suitable for hosting fine art exhibitions, concerts, theatre performances, balls and fashion shows.
In city hotel “Ventura” there have been preferably used natural materials: Italian oak parquet and doors, Italian granite and marble, ceramics and forged iron.
The internal interior solution is created by the investor Krasimir Botusharov.
